Did he just insult me?

I was at Wal-Mart last night getting some food, we've gotten to where we buy mostly healthy stuff but I still like to have a not so healthy snack option, especially for work.
We were in the snack cakes/bread aisle because I was/am craving Moon Pies and there were NONE! When did they stop making them? Anyway, Vic and I were debating which snack cake I should get instead. I ended up going with mini chocolate pies. Vic made a comment about how she hasn't had any Cutie Pies in a while and I mentioned they're for work because I tend to get hungry around 2 and end up being nearly starving by the time I get home at 5.
There had been a guy lingering over the hamburger/hot dog buns (right next to where Vic and I were standing) and after I said what I did about being starving when I get home he muttered what sounded like, "Maybe if you changed your eating habits" or something like that, and walked off sans bread which tells me he was just standing there eavesdropping.
A look in my basket reveals four pounds of lean ground beef (I like it better because there is less grease when it cooks), a box of frozen breaded fish fillets, five boxes of mac-n-cheese, a box of Chocolate Lucky Charms, a box of regular Lucky Charms, a box of Honey Nut Cheerios, a gallon of milk, a tomato, a head of lettuce, hamburger buns (which he saw me pick up) and a package of Kraft Fresh Take Savory Four Cheese Recipe Cheese Breadcrumb Mix for hamburgers/meatloaf.
Other than the mac-n-cheese and cereal, and the snack cakes, everything was healthy. So tell me, please: did he just insult me? I've never encountered that while out shopping, as far as I know. I was feeling good about the fact that I've never been accused of being FIP (fat in public) as an adult and here was this complete stranger commenting on something he knows nothing about.
