This is going to be a rather long post so things will be under cuts.
I adulted! )

It is now far enough into the current TV season for me to do my reviews of returning favorites and which new shows I'm enjoying. The easiest way of doing this is by day of the week.

I feel like I must be some big fucking cosmic joke. I decided to change from Verizon and DIRECTV to TWC for reasons and have now been without service since Tuesday. So I've been watching my CSI: Miami DVDs. Until this morning, that is. When I went to turn on my Blu-ray player to finish watching the disc I started last night, it wouldn't load. So I tried to watch it on my laptop. Only it kept… buffering is the only word I can think of. I thought it must be because it's for a TV show so I tried a movie and got the same results. I'm about to have a major meltdown and probably will if I have to spend tonight without my TV. ETA: My parents are out of town for the night so I'm doing my laundry and using their wi-fi.

Oh and in case you're wondering, the TWC tech is scheduled for 9-10 tomorrow morning.

And now for a work rant.

One of the things I now do is enter the checks we receive from the hospitals for the various things we bill them for. Only thing is I was only shown how to enter one type of check. Whenever I come across one I don't know how to code, I take it to whoever I'm supposed to and tell them I don't know how to code it. Now, if it was me getting these checks back and being told by my clerk that they don't know how to code them, I'd make sure they know so that next time they can. Has that happened? Would I be ranting about this if it had? I just bet that when it comes time for my evaluation this will be brought up as a negative thing. But I refuse to accept blame for this. I keep telling them I don't know how to do this and even say things like 'I'd really like to know how to do my job.' but it has yet to motivate them to show me how. Seriously though, how can I be expected to do my job properly if I don't know how to fucking do my fucking job!?

Is there anyone in the DFW area looking to hire an accounting clerk with strong data entry skills?

Watching Being Human on BBCAmerica and one of the Vampires is none other than Mark Williams, aka Mr. Weasley from the Harry Potter movies.

His character is a bit of a creeper, in tonight's episode he asked Annie, the ghost, to 'feed' him in exchange for information. She thinks he wants to drink her blood and reminds him that since she's already dead he can't. He tells her that's not what he meant, he wants to 'share' her sexual memories.

They start with when she lost her virginity and instead of 'watching' her and her (then) boyfriend have sex, he ends up on the receiving end. To hilarious results.

Later in the episode, Annie calls him to help her take the baby of two Werewolves, she was conceived while her parents were Transformed and therefore everyone thinks she's the first ever 'natural' Werewolf, somewhere safe.

It took a while but after several minutes I noticed that his shirt had writing on it. A few seconds later and I realized it said 'Team Edward'. That's right. A Harry Potter actor is wearing a Twilight shirt while playing a Vampire. Does anyone else see the irony? Am I the only one who wonders if he had something to say to the wardrobe people when they handed him the shirt?
